Will this be a packed retreat both with guests and activities?

This retreat combines rest, downtime, sunshine, great food, learning, listening, observing - tapping into the great alchemy within. That takes peace both around you and internally.

When everything is quiet and time is irrelevant - that is when you can really begin to relax.  You won't be asked to cook - You won't be asked to clean - You won't be on your laptop or driving in traffic.

You will be asked to take it slow and be open to what the retreat will offer.

 

We are keeping this Retreat to a small group for a more intimate and relaxing experience. - limited availability - maximum enjoyment.

What amazing things are covered in the retreat price, and what do guests need to arrange on their own (like travel)?

  • All retreat activities on the Retreat Schedule are included.
  • 10 out of 11 meals are included – breakfasts, lunch, and dinner – prepared by our wonderfully skilled chef. Sunday evening has been left open for you to choose how to spend your evening exploring Lagos.
  • Choose from a one-hour session of your choice:
    • a relaxing massage, Reiki healing, a tarot reading, a private boxing tutorial or self-defense session, a private personal training session with a trainer.
    • nb. the massage won't be with Bella but with someone she has booked so rest assured they will be lovely
  • Accommodation at Quinta de Lagos - with towels provided (2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 pool towel per guest).
  • Avail of the Quinta gardens, pool, and shaded outdoor training area (weights are available if you wish to work out!).
  • Please note that flights are not included.
  • Group Pickup/Drop off Faro airport to Lagos venue -

We will provide the option of One group collection on Friday 11th September at Faro Airport to the venue

and One group transfer on Tuesday 15th morning from the venue to Faro Airport. 

  • outside of  those two options for a group transfer, you will need to arrange your own transfer which we can help you with.

CHECK OUT: 10 AM Tuesday 15th September

Is this retreat women - only?

Yes. This retreat is intentionally held as a women-only experience.  It has been designed to support connection, reflection and exploration. This choice is about the nature of the container, not exclusion and future retreats may be open to all genders.

Will there be alcohol on this Retreat?

Alcohol will not be provided during the retreat, as typically a retreat space is needed to support clarity, presence and deeper self reflection.  Many people find that stepping away from alcohol allows for a more authentic unveiling. Guests are free to make their own choice on their evening off and that said this is not about judgement or restriction.

In a similar vein, we also encourage limited use of your mobile phone - social media and devices in general.

How can people easily understand the different room prices and book the one that's perfect for their budget and needs?

We offer various room configurations to suit different needs and budgets. To make it clear and easy to book the room that's perfect for you, we recommend visiting our "Rooms & Pricing" page.

 

Due to the limited spaces for this retreat - as we prefer a smaller, intimate group - there is a non-refundable deposit to hold your space valued at €200.  This will be deducted from your full payment due.

Tell me more about Rates and Cancellations:

Deposit:Once you have confirmed your place as a guest on the Retreat we will require a €200 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.

This is a small group. We will have a maximum of 11 guests attending.

The €200 is deducted from the rate allocated to your room choice.

Payment in full:

If you decide to pay for your room upfront and you *change your mind, you will be refunded the difference, minus the €200 deposit - within 10 working days.

*Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • More than 2 months notice - a full refund minus the €200 deposit
  • Between 60 days & 30 days notice - 50% refund - unless we can fill your spot, in which case a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Less than 30 days notice before the retreat start day - no refund - excepting if we can fill your space.

Regardless of the situation, this is a small group and the costings for the Quinta, Catering Crew, Staff - all will need to be paid regardless -

so all cancellations will have strict refund criteria. 

What other questions do you think guests might have before they book, or what special tips do you have for them?

We encourage you to think about any unique experiences you'd like to try! If there is something you would like to explore whilst here that isn't already on the schedule, such as a self-defense class or a boxing class, pop me a suggestion. We're open to ideas that enhance your personal journey. Also, remember to pack light, but include comfortable clothing for movement and relaxation, swimwear, and perhaps a journal to capture your insights.

Lagos is known for its breeze which is welcome on a hot summers day but can add a chill factor in the evening. A warm sweater or light jacket is recommended and even a shawl for around the neck.
